All you need is an Android phone to get started. A free Trojan Development Kit (TDK) app can be downloaded from hacking forums with a simple interface that can get anyone to quickly create their own ransomware, Symantec researchers find. "The entire process of creating a ready-to-use piece of malware is done on a smartphone without any requirement to write a single line of code," Dinesh Venkatesan, Principal Threat Analysis Engineer at Symantec says, cited by a ZDNet report. Reliance Jio has paused bookings of the Jio Phone, with a message on its website saying that "millions" have already pre-booked a unit. The Jio Phone bookings went live at 5:30 pm on Thursday amidst heavy demand, which the Jio website and apps struggled to cope with for the first couple of hours. Things eventually settled down, and many were able to pre-book a Jio Phone by paying Rs. 500.                                                                                                               Technec10 Now, however, Jio has paused the bookings, with no indication of when the phone will be up for pre-bookings again. "We will inform you when pre-booking [of Jio Phone] resumes," a message on the Reliance Jio website reads. The new Acer laptop is already available for purchase in the country from Flipkart as well as Acer Stores. The laptop has been built with the gaming in mind, it features a cooling system that helps keep the laptop's temperature under control despite providing intense performance, the company said. The Acer Nitro 5 sports a 15.6-inch full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) IPS display and is available with up to seventh-generation Intel Core i7 processor coupled with 16GB of RAM.                  Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A                                                                                                                                                Technec10 The alleged specifications for the  Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 smartphone were leaked last month and now the details about the Redmi Note 5A variant of the smartphone have surfaced on the Internet. The new variant of the smartphone has been tipped to be priced at CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 9,600) and will be made available for purchase starting August 21. The Redmi Note 5 has been tipped to feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and the Redmi Note 5A variant is expected to sport a similar-sized but slightly less dense display with HD resolution instead, as per  Slash Leaks .
